It was only a matter of time before a vehicular assault, as has been seen in Nice, London, Barcelona, and other cities, would strike Gotham. It is fortunate that the NYPD was on the scene so quickly to shoot the terrorist Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov before he was able to kill more people.
