From the bold agenda that Governor Cuomo described in his State of the State address, you wouldn’t know that New York leads the country in outmigration to other states. More and more residents are finding high taxes and poor-quality services reason enough to move out. With Cuomo promising more of the same, and little in the way of change, New York looks likely to remain the least desirable state for newcomers.

We can’t count on de Blasio to treat NYC homeowners fairly and now we can’t count on Gov Cuomo either. State must impose a cap so residents aren’t forced to leave the communities they call home.
